COVID-19 Information for Patients

To all of our patients, families, and community,

We know that this is a challenging time for many—and an unprecedented one for us all, globally. As we adjust to this new and rapidly changing landscape, we’re working to develop ways to put both our team and patients health first.

Our office is currently open, but we are taking tenacious measures to ensure hygiene and social distance. Here are our current plans as we head into the work week:

1- We ask all patients to notify us if they feel they are at risk for COVID-19, so that we can reschedule their appointment accordingly. Please notify us if :

~ You have flu-like symptoms, or otherwise feel unwell, stay home and rest. This
will reduce the risk of spreading your illness to others.
~If you or someone you are in close contact with have recently traveled to one of
the countries with large outbreaks of COVID-19 (China, Italy, South Korea, Spain, Iran)
or if you have been exposed to someone else who has been diagnosed or has
symptoms of COVID-19. We will want to wait 14 days until we reschedule your
       appointment.

2- We will be essentially closing our waiting room and reception area in order to limit social interactions.Only patients (and if necessary in case of our younger patients) one accompanying parent/guardian should enter our office. Siblings, friends, etc. will need to remain outside or in their vehicles.

3– Our patient “check-in” computer, coffee bar, and games will be closed. Please notify one of our team members at the front desk upon your arrival so we can check you in.

4– We will be removing magazines, books, iPads, and miscellaneous items from the front area.

5– Our teeth brushing room will be closed until further notice.

6– Our team members will happily call any parent/guardian waiting outside to update them on their child's treatment status. Let’s use technology to our advantage to help keep each other healthy!

7– We are modifying our schedules so that we will never have more than 3 to 4 patients in our office at one time.

8– We will have a dedicated team member cleaning and sterilizing all surfaces of the office throughout each day.

Thank you so much for your understanding as we navigate these uncertain times.

Please feel free to give us a call or email with any questions or concerns. It is our great pleasure to be a part of your lives. We looked forward to getting through this together.
